Answers to common questions about theme and plugin compatibility, and the list of what the plugin was tested with.
Does it work with my theme?
Yes. The plugin doesn’t need the Hadiya theme, and it adds its blocks to the product page automatically in classic and block themes. The tested list is below. If your theme moves the add to cart button somewhere unusual, choose Manual in Hadiya → Gift options → Product page placement and use the blocks or shortcodes.
Is it a gift card (store credit) plugin?
No. Hadiya adds wrapping, gift messages and gift boxes to the products you sell. Its greeting card is a paper card with the customer’s message placed inside the gift, not a balance bought and spent in your store.
Cart and checkout blocks? HPOS?
All supported, along with the classic cart and checkout, with HPOS on or off.
Languages?
The plugin is in English with a full Arabic translation, and supports right-to-left. It works with Polylang for a two-language store.
What happens to my data if I deactivate the plugin?
Wraps and settings stay in the database and come back when you reactivate it. Past orders keep their gift details in their line items.
What it was tested with
Tested in October 2026 on WordPress 7.1 and WooCommerce 11.2, in Arabic (right-to-left) and English:
- Themes: Hadiya, Twenty Twenty-Five, Storefront, Astra, Kadence, Blocksy, GeneratePress, OceanWP, Hello Elementor.
- Page builders: the block editor and Elementor 4.3.
- Cart and checkout: blocks and classic, HPOS on and off.
- Plugins: Polylang and LiteSpeed Cache.
With each theme we tested the gift options and their total, adding the gift and its wrap to the cart, the box builder, ready-made gifts, and the full order flow through to the admin and customer emails.
